Hi there and welcome to my blog! My name is Emily Hastings and I am very happy to be sharing this experience with you. Here's a little bit to know about me. :)

This blog came out of from my experiences as a foster kid and a troubled past. With that I know what it's like to not have a voice. I want this blog to showcase my growth in having a voice, an opinion, and a say on my life and experiences. Some things I will write about are past experiences and how I've grown from them, cover my current thoughts and feelings, ask and give advice on different topics, and analyze how I want my future to look. I aspire to be a journalist and give the people the information they crave as well as reflect on things I find important.

As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community. You get to give advice, get advice, and greatly influence what I write. Like I said before, I am here for myself, but also for the people.
